Heated Build Environment

Heated Build Environment

thingiverse

This enclosure, designed for a reprap printer, provides a heated build space, reaching approximately 35-40 degrees Celsius inside due to the reprap's heat. It also helps contain ABS odors; adding a scrubber further improves air quality. The construction requires six 2'x2' plywood sheets, hinges, a handle, and two pieces of plexiglass. Instead of a cube shape, two of the plywood pieces are cut to 22"x24", accommodating a power supply below. Wire holes are drilled, a light is added, and a filament spool crafted from scrap wood. A makergear dimension fixture completes the setup. The dimensions can be viewed in the provided DWG or PNG file.
