Heated Bed Stabilizers for Wanhao i3 v2.1
thingiverse
The standard XYZAXIS designs didn't work on my v2.1, possibly due to a different bed carriage design, but the screw holes were too far from the sides, so they failed to stop any wobble, prompting me to make some changes. I moved the screw hole closer to the corners, utilizing the bed carriage's sides to hold the bed in place. I added a lip on the outside of the bottom part to secure the top piece firmly in position. Additionally, I widened the inner ring on the top part to provide a snugger fit for the spring. Attention: Untested I've created two versions of the bottom plate - one with a 0.4mm lip that fits through the hole on the plate. This design may not work depending on your slicer and nozzle size, but it should be compatible with a 0.3mm nozzle (0.36mm extrusion width). Check your slicer preview first to ensure compatibility; if it doesn't work, simply print the non-lipped bottom part. I plan to test this design soon. After printing, you may need to clear the holes with a 3mm drill bit. To further secure the top and bottom parts, I recommend gluing them together so they remain stationary. Printing larger thumbscrews is also suggested. My bolts are experiencing binding on the bed carriages, so I will investigate this issue soon.
