Heated Bed 110mm X 160mm
thingiverse
Initially, I was inspired by Prusajr's PCB heated bed design available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2172. My creation is designed for home etching using the laser printer toner method on a standard Radio Shack 11.4mm x 16.1mm PCB, and it has a resistance of about 2.9 ohms at 12 volts. It heats up to 110C in approximately 4 minutes. The design includes a spot for a SMD thermistor, although the pad spacing might require adjustments if a proper thermistor isn't available. For detailed instructions on etching your PCB using the toner method, visit http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheap-and-Easy-Toner-Transfer-for-PCB-Making/. The provided PDF is already formatted and mirrored for printing, making it the easiest way to print it out. If you need to make any modifications, open the BRD file in eagle software.
With this file you will be able to print Heated Bed 110mm X 160mm with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Heated Bed 110mm X 160mm.
