I attached a cable chain to the connector and left it on the heatbed. My first heatbed failed because of the connector that held the power cables. To prevent this from happening again, I soldered the power wires directly into the hole built for them in the heatbed. The connector was originally designed to be used differently than how I attached it, so I only used two parts to secure it.
