Heatbed glass plate clamps - v2.0
thingiverse
Because my previous fixation was just too big, I designed a smaller one using an M4 Screw and Nut. With this screw, you can adjust the material deformation to press the glass plate firmly onto the bed. This new fixation is incredibly strong and has eliminated conflicts with the LPA Fanduct entirely. The other fixations I found require a glass plate that matches the heatbed's size exactly. Update: I've improved the top-side deformation of this new fixture, making it even more reliable. Additionally, inserting the hexagon nut has become much easier thanks to the larger size. Issue: While PLA prints just fine with bed temperatures up to 65°C, printing ABS at bed temperatures above ~95°C causes the clamp to deform permanently. Printing the clamps themselves using ABS might be a better option, but I haven't tested it yet.
