Drilling becomes significantly smoother with pilot holes. A deliberate outline helps you cut out accurately. Additionally, lines for a 0805 thermistor heat control were integrated. X and Y denote the dimensions of the heated zone. Steps refers to the number of wires, an even integer is preferred. Pilot_hole_r determines the radius of the pilot holes, facilitating easier drilling (0.2-0.5 mm should suffice). The safety area around holes is copper's responsibility, denoted by area_r. Full dimensions become [x+4*area_r,y+4*area_r], and hole-to-hole will be [x+2*area_r,y+2*area_r]. Volt represents the applied voltage in Watts. Cutout thickness controls the line depth. Copper_h defines your board's copper layer thickness (0.018 and 0.035 are typical values).
