This is a prototype PCB Heat Bed designed specifically for Sobo84's use case. At present, it exists only as a design and has not yet been tested.\nPublished ZIP archives contain two variations of the Heat Bed PCB, optimized for 12V and 24V power supplies respectively.\nThe Working Area measures 120mm by 120mm.\nMounting holes are situated at a distance of 130mm x 130mm from each other.\nThe Total Size of the PCB is 145mm x 145mm.\nThe Design uses a one-sided PCB with a copper thickness of 35 microns.\nThe Theoretical Power Consumption stands at approximately 72 Watts.\nAmendments (8/10/2015):\nAdditional Gerber files for both heatbed PCBs have been incorporated.\n \n \n Step-by-Step Instructions\nGuidelines for Building the Heat Bed PCB\n Published ZIP archives contain an image of the PCB plate in PNG format with a black and white design at 1200 DPI resolution.\nUsers are strictly advised not to retrieve images from any galleries.\nThe Ideal Method for manufacturing this PCB heat bed is through Photo Etching of copper.\nOptional components that can be mounted on this PCB heat bed include:\nTwo pieces of 0805 SMD LEDs with a selection of colors.\nOne piece of 1206 SMD Resistor rated at 470 Ohms (specifically designed for the 12V version).\nOne piece of 1206 SMD Resistor rated at 1 Kiloohm (designed specifically for the 24V version).\nHelp and Guidance\nIf anyone seeks custom sizing options for a Heat Bed PCB, kindly send a message to initiate discussions.
