Heat Set Insert Med. Multimorphic vertical circuit board mounts
thingiverse
This pair of mounts securely holds a single multimorphic PD-16, SW-16 or PD-LED board vertically under a pinball playfield. The long groove along its backside accommodates PCB pins protruding from the boards' rear. Made from ABS material, it accepts #6 wood screws to attach to the playfield, although the screw holes may need slight enlargement when working with brittle materials. 5 mm holes accept tapered heat set inserts available at McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/93365a130), which themselves can be screwed into using 6/32 machine screws. The mount is printed in a long, flat orientation. This design provides a small gap between the multimorphic board and the playfield, allowing wires to pass underneath. For those not requiring this feature, an alternative compact pair of mounts is available on Thingiverse, which mounts the board directly against the wood.
