My mom's bearded dragon demands heat lamps, but she was struggling with the existing ones that had their power switches uncomfortably close to the light source. This proximity problem caused chaos when she opened the top of the cage - the light would inevitably plummet to the floor and smash the bulb, an expensive casualty. I took on this challenge by designing a solution that attaches these lamps to the back of the cage, ensuring the weight of the switch doesn't send them careening out of control. Two weeks in, the lights have stabilized and are far less likely to take a tumble off their perch.
