This 3D model was initially developed in Sketchup 13 and subsequently converted into multiple other 3D formats. The native file type is .skp, while the 3ds Max scene is based on 3ds Max 2016 and rendered using Vray 3.00. To combat the chill of winter, a straightforward approach involves implementing modest frost-proofing features as needed. I propose designing a shade that incorporates greaseproof or baking sheets instead of rice paper in the upper hemisphere, paired with reflective foil for added efficiency. The shade should also feature a 50w terrarium bulb and a PC cooling fan to draw heat downward. For optimal results, a piece of wood fixed onto the base at the corner will help disperse heat more laterally, which can be enhanced by wrapping the piece in foil as well. All components should be positioned slightly off the floor, allowing heat to rise upwards. This setup is estimated to cover approximately 1.5 to 2m² of space and may allow up to four such shades to be powered using a couple of lorry batteries simultaneously. Any advice, feedback, or pointers in this direction would be highly appreciated.
