Heat Gun Holder (extra-large)
thingiverse
There are a number of heat-gun holders on Thingiverse but 1) a number of them don't seem to be designed with printability/strength in mind and 2) they are all too small for my apparently-giant heat-gun. So I designed my own. The inner diameter of the ring is 75mm, and is designed to print with the flat side of the ring on the print bed, so that the print layers are perpendicular to where force gets applied. Doesn't need supports, and shouldn't need a raft or brim with PLA (but you know your own printer better than me!). You can use a fairly coarse resolution but I recommend high infill (~50% at least) for sturdiness. The STL file has holes for counter-sunk #10 wood screws for mounting, but I've also included a STEP file that only has 1mm guide holes, so you can import it to your favorite CAD program and use those to place whatever size and shape of holes you prefer. Or if you're an OnShape user, you can copy [my document here](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/bc213b4404859aaedccf3175/w/d0d49aa41af491003d5e5f35/e/0050b7038f3034b598b57bd1) to make your changes to.
