Liquid and gas flow through pipes within a heat exchanger system. The hot fluid is air, with an inlet temperature of 393.15 K and a volume flow rate of 0.0028 m³/s (2.8 l/s). The cold fluid is water, with an inlet temperature of 283.15 K and a volume flow rate of 0.0007 m³/s (0.7 l/s). Following the exchange process, air's outlet temperature decreases to 303.89 K, while water's temperature rises slightly to 283.34 K. The materials used for pipe construction are PVC for air and copper for water, with a rubber coupling connecting them. The total length of the pipes is 16.5045 inches, with diameters of 1.869 inches (air) and 1.625 inches (water). A visual representation of this heat exchanger can be found in an animation available at http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2spz2k_heat-exchanger-cfd-solidworks-animations_school.
