If using my designs has saved you time or money or otherwise been of value, consider showing your appreciation by tipping me through Thingiverse's "Tip Designer" feature - I always enjoy seeing that a designer's hard work has paid off! This simple enclosure is designed to dry spools of filament using the heat of your 3D printer heatbed. It was made to fit two average-sized spools, with space left around the perimeter for airflow. The base serves as an elevator, raising the spools off the bed and centering them within the enclosure. I was able to revive some compromised filament by heating it in this enclosure - 100C gave me a stable internal temperature of about 50C. You'll need to experiment with different temperatures on your own. A new version is currently being worked on, and will be updated here soon.
