Inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1257772, I created this model from scratch using OpenScad. Five pieces of glass, cut by my local glass store, are a bit imperfect, so adapters are required to fit them firmly in some cases. The model includes an M3 Washer and M3 Nut hole. Attaching the STL file, it should fit a popular size glass sold on Amazon (200 x 213 mm). By printing this model, you will have only two corners covered; for other two corners, mirror it in your slicer program or adjust the sides using OpenScad. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 90% Notes: Use a filament material with the highest melting point available. For example, if you make it from PLA plastic and use it with the heating bed for printing ABS, the corner will melt at temperatures over 85 degrees Celsius. How I Designed This Settings y_lenght, x_lenght :: The length of the corner sides not including outer border. outer_border :: how far this model will stand out of the bed glass_thickness :: my glass is 3mm thick but I've used 2.8 value to give a little bit more room over here, as bottom layer of the top surface is not perfectly straight, but curly and wavy bed_thickness :: my bed has a Wanhao M3 pad on it. So it is bit thicker than default heating bed. Also I've added 0.2 mm to keep global model size the same after glass_thickness parameter. y_thick, x_thick :: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. How far side will overlap your bed, depends on your glass size. under_layer :: Thickness of the bottom of the corner model, part which is under the bed. bolt_area :: small hole in top surface to be able to insert a bolt Adjusting an Openscad I've used my small library 3d.scad to make life easier, so you should also download it to have main model working. Place it into LIB folder one level up or simply adjust path at the beginning. Washer and nut holes This model is not meant for snug fitting by M3 bolt, washer, nut. It lets the nut go through but only prevents it from moving left or right. Snug fitting is achieved by selecting proper distance between bottom and top surfaces. bed_thickness setting should be used in open scad model.
