Hearty Heart Box – Print in Place/ Support Free

Hearty Heart Box is a dual hinged, print in place, support free gift box offered in multiple sizes and tolerances. I’ve provided 3 sizes at a .2mm tolerance gap as well as 3 tolerance fit options (.2mm, .3mm & .4mm) of the large size with matching hinge tests. The large one is sized to hold a 25mm (1”) truffle.* Excessive print testing notes: Definitely run the quick hinge test first to get the best tolerance gap for your printer. The geometry should allow you to print with no supports, but my printers got a little messy in the top corners. Two easy fixes: - Add wall thickness and clean up the little rubble after print. - Support the upper inner corners a little, but still dodge support around the hinges. *Ferrero Rocher (candy in the picture) is a little larger than the box and props the lid open nicely.
