Hearts For Valentine

For the next two weeks, Thingiverse is going to be overrun with hearts. This is my personal contribution. I designed a base heart shape and remeshed it into a low poly version that's perfect for 3D printing. I used the triangulation of the low poly model to create a wire-based design that can be used as a pendant by threading a string through its mesh structure. The wire model also allows you to add a small eye on top the heart, giving it a more personalized touch. I've ordered a set of these hearts in polyamide polished blue from i.materialise and I'm excited to see them printed. As soon as I get my hands on them, I'll be adding a picture to show off their finished design. Your girlfriend will love this unique Valentine's Day present!
