Heart Trophy
thingiverse
We hosted an informal poker tournament with our pals on Valentine's Day, and I decided to create a trophy. I've uploaded a heart shape with no engravings, allowing anyone to use their preferred 3D software for engraving text (2mm depth is usually perfect). Two years after making it, I'm finally uploading this project. Back then, I was just starting out in 3D printing, which explains the somewhat messy text engraving in the picture. Instructions The STL files are already aligned for you. There are three options to print: OPTION 1: First, print the base STL; next, without removing it from your build plate, print the heart. You can switch the color of your plastic so that the base is one hue and the heart is another (I did this too). Unfortunately, I recall having to use a glue gun or superglue to stick them together since they may have separated during removal. OPTION 2: Use dual extrusion to print both colors in a single shot – start with one color for the base, then switch to another for the heart. OPTION 3: Print the base separately; afterward, transfer the heart STL file and print it by itself. Then apply some glue or superglue and assemble them. Any chosen print resolution will suffice.
With this file you will be able to print Heart Trophy with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Heart Trophy.
