The two wiper holders shown here are for the headstock side. They are for my Sieg C2 7 x 12 mini lathe which has two 6 mm threaded holes in place on the carriage, so no drilling or tapping required. They fit very snugly and will receive a 5 mm thick felt pad between the carriage and the holder cut to shape of the ways. The felt pad can be soaked in oil to release the oil as it glides over the ways. If you want these on the back of the carriage on the tailstock end as well then just mirror these. You most probably will have to drill and tap the holes to match those on the headstock side.I also made my own way cover that protects the working end of the ways and leadscrew from getting swarf on it. It was quite complicated to design but now that I have the prototype it is fairly simple to make. Mine is made out of 1 mm thick Lexan polycarbonate sheeting. I could draw the plans if any one may be interested. Am not sure if it can be posted on Thingiverse because it is not a 3D print although it could be I suppose. I just liked mine clear.
