A handy headstock support for keeping stringed instruments in prime condition. A sturdy base makes winding strings a breeze and saves the day. To prevent scratching your instrument's neck while using the support, attach a piece of felt to the base or place a small towel across it. This simple trick will keep your instrument looking its best. Three screw holes are located on the base, requiring #8 sheet metal screws for secure attachment. The base is 1/4 inch thick, so a half inch screw should do the job just fine, mounting the support firmly to your workstation.
