Munching away... Laser-Cut Project Unveiled: Perfectly Crafted for 3mm MDF/Plywood. Update (August 2019) New Instructions Added, Laser-Cut Files Now in DXF R12 ASCII Format: You'll receive three files, each differing only by their kerf compensation settings: - 0mm: No kerf compensation applied. - 015mm: Notches are compensated for a 0.15mm kerf loss. - 020mm: Identical to the previous option, with notches adjusted for a 0.20mm kerf. Kerf Compensation Explained: The kerf refers to the amount of material lost during cutting. To simplify assembly and eliminate glue usage, this kerf is factored into the vector file itself. To successfully cut and assemble the model, use the 015kerf or 020kerf files, depending on your laser's cutting width. If you plan to make substantial modifications, consider using the 0kerf file.
