Headphones Stand Bose QuietControl 30
thingiverse
This is a compact headphone stand/holder designed specifically for Bose QuietControl 30. It's engineered for wall mounting, with a tabletop version still in development. Unfortunately, printing this model requires support due to its design. You can choose between printing it upright or lying down; the former will consume more filament, while the latter will fill the groove on QC 30 and necessitate additional post-processing. It didn't take long - just one day - before I realized this design needed improvement. (Bose_Stand_02.stl) The earplug holders have been widened to 10 mm for increased strength, and the distance between them has been adjusted to 6 mm from the previous 5 mm. Additionally, they've been bent at a 45-degree angle instead of 90 degrees, eliminating the need for support underneath. This design change also makes it easier to insert and remove earplugs from their holders. Nevertheless, you'll still require minimal support (10% or less) for the QC 30 track. Printing with a layer height of 0.2 mm or lower will likely yield better results than the examples shown here, which were printed at 0.4 mm. Have fun exploring this design!
