One of the coolest ways to hang your headphones on your desktop with style is to create a unique stand that showcases their design. To achieve better quality, simply print all 4 pieces at once using your 3D printer. Once you've printed all the parts, trim away any support material from the knob and shape it to resemble the image provided. To prevent slipping, I added two leather or rubber pads measuring 40x8 mm to the plastic jaws. The leather seems to work better, so I applied a thin layer of cyanoacrylate quick glue (or super glue) to secure them in place. You'll also need some nuts and bolts for the joints, which are as follows: 2 M3 nuts 2 M3x35mm bolts 1 M4 nut 1 M4x60mm bolt Optional: 4 M4 washers can be used for smooth turning of the knob. Place 3 under the knob and 1 under the bolt head on the other side of the gripper. To assemble the stand, I used a soldering iron to heat the nuts and insert them into their hexagonal holes. This made it easier to secure the parts together. A helpful tip is to lubricate the M4x60mm bolt with a drop of mineral oil to make the turning movement smoother. Have fun recreating this project and share your photos!
