Cable Holder Thing for Headphone Cable: A Solution for Tangled Cords A cable holder thing is just what I needed to keep my headphone cable from getting wrapped around my chair arm. It might also work well for mouse/keyboard cables or monitor wires, but the clip itself is quite small. Print Settings: Printer: Mendel90 Rafts: No Resolution: Mixed Infill: 25% Notes: Print the bolt and springy clip thing at 0.15mm layer heights. The bolt came out perfect, fitting straight into an 8mm nut. I printed the clamp at 0.25mm layer heights but it could probably benefit from being 0.15-0.2mm. Post-Printing: After printing, I used a tap to clean up the 8mm threaded hole in the clamp. The bolt was used straight from the printer with no cleanup. A piece of vinyl was glued to the clamp on the "top" inside where it contacts the desk just to give it some extra grip. The round section on the clip was scraped with an edge deburring tool to clean it up and make it round. After that, you can hit it with sandpaper if needed, but I didn't require any further smoothing.
