Headphone Wrapper

The #enabledby3d Project Idea #1: Headphone Entanglement was conceived by Sean Corcoran, Sarah Dunn, and Gillian DuPré. To tackle the issue of headphone entanglement, they designed a device that prevents headphones from tangling when not in use. The solution is a box-like device created using SolidWorks, 3D printed to keep each side of the headphones separate and confined. This innovative design features a simple mechanism: a shelled container with four corner spokes that wind the entire length of the headphones around. As a result, the chords are prevented from entangling. The headphone jack plugs into a port located on the device's side, while two pegs on each side securely hold the ear buds in place, keeping the wires separate and limiting movement to prevent tangles.
