Headphone Wall Mount (Bose QuietComfort 35)
thingiverse
This is a stylish remix I created. I wanted a sleek wall mount for my Bose QuietComfort 35, so I adapted a modern wall mount design I found on Thingiverse. This object is a remix of Jeroen_H's design, which I customized to be wall-mountable. The original headphone stand can be found here: Headphone Stand by Jeroen_H. Published on August 14, 2017. www.thingiverse.com/thing:2483037 To create this stylish wall mount, you'll need to print two parts: the wall mount and the headphone rest. The wall mount attaches to the wall using 2 screws and 2 plugs. You don't have to glue the headphone rest to the headphone mount; it's a snap fit. However, for extra stability, you can glue them together. To attach the wall mount to the wall, use two 4.0 x 40 screws and two SD 6 plugs. The screw hole in the wall mount is 9 mm in diameter, with a 3 mm screw hole and a 35-degree taper angle for a smooth fit. I printed this model on my Creality Ender 3 in two separate parts and sliced it using Cura. I used 1.75 mm black PLA from REAL. For best results, print this model with thicker walls than usual because the arched frame is quite thin. This ensures a sturdy headphone mount that doesn't flex under the weight of your headphones. The most challenging part to print is the headphone rest. Check out the tips for printing the headrest in the Post-Printing section for more information.
