My First Print Adventure: A DIY Project Born from Perseverance I proudly showcase one of my initial design and print endeavors, acknowledging that it's still a work in progress. The end result is far from flawless, but I'm excited to share this project with someone who might appreciate its quirks. After hours of sanding and multiple coats of spray paint, the pictures are finally looking their best. To ensure they fit within my printing volume, I scaled down both parts by 14% before sending them to print. Each component underwent individual sanding sessions, followed by a meticulous gluing process to merge them into one cohesive piece. Additional sanding was necessary to achieve a smooth finish. To give the project an authentic look, I applied a plastic primer and then sealed it with multiple coats of matte black spray paint.
