Headphone Stand, Oversized, 4 Versions
thingiverse
This design has been modified from its predecessor to accommodate larger formats. It now includes a one-piece version for big printers and a two-piece version for smaller ones. Both sizes come with or without a tray. A stand that fits bigger headphones and smaller printers is the goal, but unfortunately, it requires two pieces with an awkward break in between. A solid glue joint should result, but there's a countersink on the back for fasteners instead of screws. This design adds some asymmetry and includes a small tray to store adapters, as the intention is to use this stand with corded phones. Kudos to Jackson Seidenberg, the designer of the original Makerbot headphone stand, which is an excellent example of product design and Solidworks surfacing. Sorry that this version doesn't do justice to the original; it's a solid model, but less refined due to laziness being the mother of invention.
