Headphone Stand (Free Standing)

This is a multi-piece, freestanding universal headphone stand designed to fit most 3D printers with small build volumes. Originally printed on an M3D Micro 3D printer in PLA without a heated bed, it consists of five or eight pieces: a base, middle extension, top part, two blocks for aligning the main parts during assembly, and three feet for increased stability. Due to various tolerances between printers, the alignment blocks are printed oversized and will require scaling down to fit specific printer tolerances. The assembled stand measures 11.125 inches tall with the headphone hanger portion standing at 10.75 inches high. The base footprint is 3.5 x 3.75 inches without feet, expanding to 5.125 x 4.325 inches with them attached. While stable on its own, the addition of the feet significantly enhances stability. Printers can successfully print this stand with no support material, depending on part orientation; however, adding support to the top part can improve print quality and success.
