Headphone Stand

Headphone Stand

thingiverse

I've created my remix of the MakerBot headphone stand, tailored for smaller print beds with a volume of 180x180x180 mm. I designed it as a beginner to CAD and 3D printing, so it's perfect for those just starting out like me. The files were altered using Autodesk Inventor 2017, and I've included both .step and .stl formats for your convenience. To bond the top pieces securely, I used plastic cement and then sanded them down to a smooth finish. Next, I plan to give it a matte look with hobby paint or a spray coating. My hope is that this design will be useful for others who need a smaller headphone stand. Edit: I'm surprised by how many people are already downloading this remix. If you find any issues or can suggest improvements, please let me know – I'd appreciate both positive and negative feedback. Print Settings: Printer: Cetus3D Rafts: Not necessary Supports: Yes Infill: 20% Notes: I printed my pieces with rafts and supports due to the holes and little pegs I added. Whether or not your printer requires this is up to you. This design was printed on the Tiertime Cetus3D with a 0.4mm nozzle using Black PLA.
