First design I've made entirely from scratch to learn Fusion 360. Dimensions The maximum height for a desk clamp is around 34mm without using a bolt. With the bolt, it can securely grip a desk as thin as 11mm. To prevent joint fatigue, I relocated the bolt further back. Files In addition to the bolt file, I've included three clamp STL files. Clamp A: Features the words "headphones" and "portablesheep" in its design. Clamp B: Includes only the word "headphones" in its design. Clamp C: Omits all text from its design. Credit for the original design that inspired this creation goes to: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1657541 Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker v2 Rafts: No rafts were used. Supports: Supports are not necessary, but if you must use them, they can be built from the platform only. Resolution: 2mm resolution was selected. Infill: 20% infill density was chosen for this print. Notes: This design was printed on a glass bed with medium quality and 20% infill. To ensure clean threading, I reduced my outline print speeds. If you're experiencing issues with the threading, try slowing down your outline and possibly infill speeds. Supports were used, but only from the built platform, as they can cause etching issues when printed from the side.
