Our prime goal is to create a concept that safeguards headphones from damage around the jack area where excessive stress often causes wear and tear. To achieve this, our initial design features a headphone jack enclosure that grips snugly over the outer earbud portion with textured beveled sides for a secure hold. A simple attachment system allows users to fasten it securely without complications. As of now, we're prioritizing a support system called Headphone Jack Shield that specifically caters to Apple Earbuds due to their widespread usage among listeners. Upcoming improvements will focus on optimizing the locking mechanism, slimming down the design for better printability and enhancing its usability overall.
