Headphone Holder
thingiverse
Looked around to print a nice headphone holder, but couldn't find one that caught my eye. Decided to scour the web for a fancy design and ended up with this unique creation. I give full credit to the designer of ROOMs Audio FS for their commercially available headphone holder - this design is a direct copy from theirs. The resulting holder is sturdy enough to hold at least a PSB m4u 2, so it should be plenty strong for anything you put on your head or around your ears (or neck). To print this design, you'll need to print one base, one rest, and two connectors. The holes are designed to fit M4 screws; I wouldn't suggest using anything larger than 10mm M4s. You will need four screws in total. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Tevo Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Notes: I used cura to slice the design and had supports only touching the print bed (just a little bit). The base has a sharp overhang at the top, but if you print slow enough (I printed it between 30 - 40mm/s) with adequate cooling, the print should be fine. I highly recommend printing this holder with composite filament for added weight and strength. Post-Printing I plan to use wood stain to color the one I printed, but there are plenty of other ways and finishes you can use to make it stand out.
