The original design falls short in accommodating slender worktops, which is a significant drawback given my home office setup revolves around an Ergotron WorkFit S sit-stand keyboard/monitor mount featuring panels that are remarkably thin compared to standard desktop surfaces. To address this issue, I've taken the liberty of modifying the original pad to be both taller and wider in order to provide a more secure grip on thinner work panels. Furthermore, I've supplemented the existing design with adhesive "grip tape" which serves to enhance the mounting stability on smooth surfaces.
