Headphone/Headset Stand

Headphone/Headset Stand

Here I have the plans for a futuristic-looking 3D printed/laser cut headphone/headset stand. Perfect for gaming setups or desks, this project is super easy to make. The black pieces are 3D printed, and the clear pieces are laser-cut. If you don't have access to a laser cutter, I've provided STL files for the acrylic parts, which can be printed with clear filament or alternative colors. Assembly is a breeze, requiring only tapping some threads into pilot holes. Below, you'll find the required hardware. This project makes a perfect gift or cool addition to your setup. It's my first upload, but stay tuned for more exciting projects in the future. I'm currently not entirely pleased with the cap (the top piece that holds the headphones) and am working on an updated design. As soon as I've designed one I like, I'll upload it here. The final design will include a hole for a set screw to facilitate assembly. For now, I've friction-fit the cap in place. Check out my YouTube channel, TheTranq, where you can find many project videos and more 3D printing projects to come. UPDATE: New cap STL added to the files along with an assembly drawing featuring part identification. Tap and add a set screw to the new cap to secure it in place or use some glue instead. Enjoy! Required Hardware: * 6-32 Socket Head Screws, 1-5/8" long (5x) * 8-32 Socket Head Screws, 7/8" long (5x) * 8-32 Socket Head Screws, 1-3/8" long (4x) * 6-32 Set Screw, 1/2" long (1x) * 3/8" Acrylic (optional) STL models are in metric units. Part Drawings are in imperial units. See the attached PDF drawings to determine which holes require threading. Don't forget to post an image if you decide to make this project!
