This holder functions seamlessly with either 5 round 8x2mm magnets or double-sided adhesive tape. The unit consists of two distinct parts: a sturdy hanger and an adaptable connector that can be rotated both upward and downward for optimal positioning. To prevent the adaptor from slipping on smooth metal surfaces, I attached rubber strips salvaged from a bicycle tube to its backside - a clever solution that allows for detachment while maintaining stability. By inserting the adaptor into the hanger, you'll find it holds securely without the need for adhesive; however, some minor filing may be required to achieve a snug fit.
