Headphone Hanger
thingiverse
I was browsing online reviews and stumbled upon a product on Amazon that caught my eye. I quickly realized how easy it would be to create my own custom design. I grabbed a USB hub that had been sitting idle on my desk for years and repurposed it as the charging center. The clip at the bottom of the hanger is specifically designed to fit the PLYR 2 headphones from Skullcandy, but it should accommodate any headphones with an over-the-head bracket measuring less than 30mm in width. The side 'wings' have two distinct size slots. The inner-most two are 8mm wide, providing ample space for larger braided cords, while the outer four are designed to securely hold traditional earbuds. In the photos, I haven't implemented cable management yet, but eventually, I plan to wrap the cords neatly and keep them out of sight using a cord wrap.
