thingiverse
All the headphone holders I discovered applied excessive pressure on the foam, compromising its longevity. To preserve the health of my headphones, I designed a custom mount that would securely hold them without resting on their delicate foam components. The design also incorporates convenient cable hooks and a compact shelf for added functionality. Using precise measurements from my Bluedio T5s as a reference point, I tailored the design to accommodate various models. The in-between section measures 160mm, while the hole between the hooks is 11.5mm wide. If you plan to mount it on a wall, your headphones' cups must be foldable to fit securely on the hooks. Alternatively, attaching it to the edge of a shelf eliminates the need for cup folding. For a sturdy attachment, I opted for 2x3m-5lb hook strips, providing a reliable hold and ensuring the holder remains firmly in place. I've included my Fusion 360 file for anyone interested in modifying or improving upon my design.
