<b>Introduction</b> <b>The AKG K240 headphones are perhaps the most used and widespread semi-open studio headphones for their price and their quality. However, they do have a few things that really set them apart from higher-end headphones like low frequency delivery. Despite this these headphones lend themselves very easily to being modded due to their constructive simplicity and I would like to see other projects like this!</b> ------------- <b>In this project you will find several files:</b> <b>- headphone_cup:</b> there are 3 sizes (50mm, 40mm and 38mm) that you will need to choose according to the size of your new driver. If the dimensions should be "non-standard" I don't think you will have problems adapting the model. If you can't, write me. This mod closes the headset slightly, though not completely. If that bothers you, I've prepared some files with the wording "open" which have some holes to let the sound in (like in the original). <b>- pivot_ring:</b> The pivot ring made to work on the new piece. If the first file is too stiff, try printing "pivot_ring2.stl". NB: The size of the pivot is the same for all driver sizes, so as to ensure greater compatibility between the pieces of the project (and any future upgrades). <b>- aesthetic_ring:</b> not necessary for printing. You can print it only if you need to change the "aesthetic ring".
