Here's something I came up with because the right search term or file just wasn't within reach. I've been noticing that my cable always seems to fail at the same point, so I decided to create a protective cover for it. This one is designed specifically to fit my own cable, but I've included an f3d file in case you want to edit and adapt it to your needs as well.
