Headphone Adaptor for Microphone Stand
thingiverse
What's this?\nThis is a headphone holder I built for my old mic stand. It has a simple triangular shape with a hole of 5/8 inches in the middle, making it easy to fit into a mic stand.\nIt can hold up to three headphones with a maximum width of nine inches, so it's perfect for studios with spare mic stands.\nEach arm is five centimeters wide and one centimeter tall, giving plenty of room for your headphones.\nMy mic stand uses a different screw,\nIf you have a mic stand with a 3/8 inch screw or any other size, feel free to modify the design (use "Headphone_Stand_base.stl").\nHow to Modify\nI've uploaded three versions:\n"Headphone_Stand.stl" is the standard model.\n"Headphone_Stand_arm.stl" is just one arm, allowing you to customize it for your build plate.\n"Headphone_Stand_base.stl" is just the base without a hole, so you can design your own.\nHave fun with it! I'm looking forward to seeing your modifications or prints!\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: Ultimaker\nPrinter: Ultimaker 2\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.2mm\nInfill: 10%\nNotes: Printed with black ABS (250°C / 110°C)\nPrinting Time ~ 4h\nMinimum printing area recommended: 17 x 17cm (about 6.7'')\nSmaller printing areas: use the model "Headphone_Stand_arm.stl" to design your own shape (e.g., just linear for two headphones).\nAdditional Information\nTips and Tricks\nI recommend printing with a nozzle size of 0.6mm for a good time-quality-balance.\nAfter printing, if the print isn't smooth, use some sandpaper on it and choose your technique to make the surface smooth, so it doesn't damage your headphones.\nIf you get a clean print, you won't need to do that. The stand is designed to be smooth enough.
