Headlight Adjusting Nut

Headlight Adjusting Nut

thingiverse

This is a replacement for headlight adjusting screws/nut assemblies utilized with older-style sealed beam headlights. The originals featured nuts made of plastic that snapped into a metal plate situated behind the bulb. Due to their proximity to the hot headlight and the fact that many of these units are over 50 years old, it's common for the plastic to deteriorate. All the replacement parts I've discovered are so inexpensive that they barely remain in place. This component is designed to be used with the original screw, paired with a new standard nut.
