'HeadLight' 3d binaural microphone
thingiverse
I've been experimenting with binaural microphones and my first project was building a binaural dummyhead based on a 3D scan of my own head, but I had to make it heavily decimated to give it a more generic look. The model is still not finished yet because it's also quite large to print and I had to split it into four pieces. I've been working on developing this binaural microphone, inspired by designs like the 3Dio 3D mic, and my goal was to create something that was more affordable, fun to build, and aesthetically pleasing instead of looking too commercial. Just for kicks, I added a lens that lights up when you speak into it. As this is still a work in progress, I haven't uploaded the rest of the 3D models yet, just the dummyhead so far.
