I engineered a custom 18650 battery cover paired with a 03962A USB charger sourced from China, bypassing the standard 3xAAA battery cover setup. This hybrid design proves remarkably convenient, especially when worn on my head, and charging is streamlined to a simple plug-and-play process. To accommodate my belt, I had to trim the grips after printing to ensure the belt can fit snugly inside them. The PLA-printed cover was secured with hot glue, providing a sturdy bond.
