Headlamp right-angle lamp headstrap quickrelease mount

A lot of currently available headlamps share the same type of mounting on the headstraps. The mount consists of a couple rubbery rings that have to slip over the body of the lamp. This is ok for a one time task, but if you want to use the lamp also as a standard torch this mount is awful. My mount consists of a mounting plate and a half pipe holder screwed together with M3 screws. The lamp can then be strapped with an elastic bungee cord to the holder.Plate: With cuts for sliding the strap into place without cutting and sewing.Holder: Two symetrical parts mounted next to each other. No need for brim or support. A recess within each half pipe for holding a rubber strip (to avoid the lamp to rotate). The recess has pockets at the ends to insert the rubber strip. My use rubber strip is a industrial foam rubber 30mm long, 5mm width and 2.8mm thick. I glued the rubber in place. The elastic bungee cord I used was a camping utility with 2mm thickness. The hole is 4mm so other cords will do.
