Headboard Candle Holder

I purchased electric candles from World Market, giving me peace of mind when it came to fire safety. I wanted to create a romantic atmosphere by placing these candles on top of our bed's shaker headboard, but falling candle flames hitting my head wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I designed and created a custom candle holder that fits perfectly over the edge of the headboard. It has an internal cavity for the electric candle and reinforced corners to provide additional stability. I also built in removable supports to ensure safe and stable operation. A small notch at the bottom of one side helps with removing the printed candle holder from the build platform, which is typically done using a screwdriver. Simply position your custom-made candle holder against a wall before placing it over the headboard. It works amazingly well, creating the desired romantic ambiance in our bedroom! I designed and 3D-printed this project using my Makerbot Replicator 2. Instructions Before printing in PLA, place blue painter's tape across the print bed to secure it. Apply gentle sanding to smooth out any surface roughness. If there are any fingerprints on the surface, gently clean them with alcohol before moving forward.
