This project showcases a 6DOF headtracking clip designed for Freetrack, employing default settings for a three-point clip in the software. Unfamiliar with headtracking? This LED-equipped accessory works in tandem with a Wiimote or webcam, translating head movements into game motion (e.g., panning right when looking right in flight sims). Freetrack can be downloaded from http://www.free-track.net/english/. For optimal results, utilize a Wiimote due to its high-quality infrared camera. Printing instructions include 100% infill at a 0.1mm layer height. To assemble the wires and infrared LEDs, create two halves of the clip for easy super gluing of components. Power the LEDs using a standard three-LED bicycle light.
