Head Torch 30 degree tilt wedge

Head Torch 30 degree tilt wedge

Poundland COB head torch, great for £1 but two 'flaws' I fixed: 1) It runs off AAA's, I hate using AAA's for anything other than low drain devices such as remote controls, weighing scales etc. 2) It points directly forwards and a up a bit. ----------------------------------------------------------- This is how I fixed them: 1) I desoldered & removed the battery contacts then put a small connector in to power it off a small 1S lipo battery that used to power a toy grade quadcopter. 2) I measured the back of the head torch to create a 30 degree wedge to point it down more into your field of view, it perfectly fits the curved back of the torch and still gives you the same curved surface that presses against your forehead. ----------------------------------------------------------- I printed mine with no support, 15% infill, 0.2mm high, in TPU, but that doesn't stop you using PLA or any other filament. Stick it on the back of the torch with glue or strong double sided tape, whatever works for you. You can sell prints of this, but don't overcharge, and link back here.
