Head scanner (under construction)

I'm working on a head scanner, adding components as I go along. The design includes a camera mounted on a mobile platform that will scan objects like heads. Currently, I'm using a Bühler motor to drive it, but I might switch to a stepper motor later. My setup allows for interchangeable motor holders, making it flexible. The motor holder (part2_closed.stl) took two hours to print and required bridging a large gap, so a stepper extruder is recommended. I've provided the slide-in holder as separate STL files and SCAD files in the archive.zip for potential use by others. To set up, follow these instructions: 1) Print part1 and mount it on a piece of Meccano. 2) Print part2, but be prepared to modify it as it's a tight fit inside part1. 3) Print the motor-to-Lego connector and epoxy it onto the Bühler motor, then connect it to the Lego wheel (a tricky print). 4) Slide the entire assembly so that the wheel touches the racetrack (I got mine from a secondhand store). More updates are on the way!
