Head of Priapus

Refined Augustan adaptations of ancient models from as far back as the late sixth century.\r\nPriapus is a god of fertility, guardian of horticulture and viticulture, renowned for his powerful phallic symbol. His statue, brandishing a wooden sickle in one hand, served as a scarecrow in Roman gardens, while his massive penis was used to deter thieves.\r\nThis deity is primarily celebrated for his gigantic virile member, so enormous that it has been called "column," "twelve-inch pole," "cypress," "spear," and "pyramid" - all names referencing the impressive dimensions of his genitalia.\r\nThis object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory. Through this endeavor, we are creating a digital repository of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe, available for public access at no cost. Scan The World is an open-source community project; if you have intriguing items in your surroundings and wish to contribute, email stw@myminifactory.com to learn how you can participate.
