Head of Penelope
myminifactory
Penelope wears a snug-fitting hood and a veil draped elegantly over it. Her curls snuggle closely against her face. Above the right ear, only the jagged remnants of the upper phalanx of her right hand remain intact (see also Showcase No. 12). The cast showcases Penelope's head with the added features of the 19th century on her nose and left eyebrow. On display at the Museum für Abgüsse Klassischer Bildwerke in Munich, this museum is a treasure trove of classical paintings and sculptures. It boasts an impressive collection of Greek and Roman antiquities spanning from the 7th century BC to the 5th century AD. This object is part of "Scan The World," a groundbreaking non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory.
